Dr. Rajiv Shah: Good afternoon. Thank you for coming.
This is my first trip to Pakistan as the Administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development. Before I start with a few brief introductory remarks, I’d like to offer my condolences to the families of the Pakistani security personnel who were killed and those also injured during last Monday’s attack on the U.S. Consulate in Peshawar. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and we wanted to offer our condolences and our thoughts. (more…)
